Nikki Thomas brings her mix of news and wacky morning banter to the Bay Area from (freezing cold) Buffalo, New York. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, she has been on the airwaves for 20 years! She attended Xavier University, and credits a radio production class for piquing her interest in being a personality. "I discovered that I was pretty good at it, so I stuck with it," she says.

After experiencing the intense Louisiana heat and the bitter winters of Buffalo, she has finally found atmospheric bliss in the Bay Area. She is also an aspiring TV personality and actor. Nikki enjoys reading, writing, singing, working out, hanging out on the internet, talking to her nephew on the phone, and decorating.

She is a die-hard Prince fan, and had her lifelong dream come true when he invited her to come onstage and dance with him at a recent concert! "He touched my hand...", she said, right before she passed out. Besides The Purple One, she loves to listen to Sade, Maxwell, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Cameo, just to name a few.
